If you ever need to log the chats to a database, or add keyword filters and automatica alerts, then you might want to consider our Sametime server based logging applicaton. We have recently developed a utility to import the older text based files into our application.

Imtegrity scales very well, is used in many large production environments, and has been in use since the Sametime 3.x days.
